2022 Nissan Sentra
Nissan is set to surprise its customers with a new model rolling out later this year. The carmaker also said that the new model was inspired by the sporty and dynamic design of some of its nimble foreign competitors, giving us an insight into how this vehicle can improve on its game.
There's no word yet on what changes fans can expect in the engine or exterior design. Still, it's safe to bet this sedan will continue to put smiles on people's faces and improve upon Nissan's reputation as a top car brand in North America.
Exterior
The current Sentra has a true sports sedan look, designed for urban environments. That means Nissan can continue to make tiny tweaks to the exterior but still keep it sporting and competitive with the best performance. Exterior changes could add cool features like LED headlights and daytime running lights.
Interior
Nissan interior changes could boost the appeal of their cars to the masses. The Nissan Sentra is a really good-looking car, but it needs some more wow factor on the inside to add a little sportiness to the space. Many friends and family have said they’d buy one just for looks alone.
Improvements such as an updated steering wheel, upgraded lighting, and better audio system options can be found inside. This vehicle is a true value for the money, so increased performance should be matched with lower price points to keep the value high.
Technology
The Sentra comes standard with plenty of technology options at this point in its model life cycle, but it could be even better than that in its next-generation guise. A better navigation system would be a great start, and new options like built-in smartphone chargers are also a must-have.

The Nissan Sentra in Calgary, AB, will be available at $16,680. The mid-level S trim adds more technology and goodies like a look-down rearview mirror and NissanConnect with Navigation. The top-of-the-line SL trim includes LED headlights, USB ports, leather upholstery, a blind-spot warning system, and six airbags. It starts at just $20,070.
