Pricing and Trims

The 2023 Nissan Z is available in two trim levels: the Sport and the Performance. Buyers have a choice to get either trim in a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic. The Sport comes standard with 45.7cm Yokohama Sport Advan tires.

Upgrading to the Performance model gets you 48.2cm forged lightweight Rays wheels with Potenza S007 Bridgestone tires. Contact our Royal Oak Nissan dealership for the latest pricing information.

Engine and Performance

True to Nissan’s roots in manufacturing performance vehicles, the Z comes equipped in 2023 with a six-cylinder 2.0-litre engine. The engine has been placed farther back in the sports car’s chassis to improve balance, and the new suspension improves performance.

The Z’s new 2.0-litre V6 engine has a maximum power of 350 pound-feet torque and 400 horsepower. We were pleased to notice that the upgraded engine performs better at 500 horsepower and 74 pound-feet more potent than the Z’s previous model, 370Z.

Additions in the Performance automatic are upgraded paddle shifters plus a mechanical limited-slip differential, enhancing the sports car’s traction when accelerating fast. You’ll also get larger brake pads, a rear spoiler, plus a performance exhaust.

Interior and Tech

The cabin has been revamped and modernized with a sleek new instrument panel. The Sport has a 20.3cm infotainment touchscreen, smartphone integration, USB ports, satellite radio and a six-speaker sound system. Creature comforts consist of quality cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats. The cabin’s storage capacity is decent for a two-seater sports car with 6.9 cubic feet of enough space. You also have a centre armrest with a bin, cupholders and tray to keep your mobile secure. The rear hatch can open for more storage space for small items.

Upgrading to the Performance gets you a larger 22.8cm touchscreen, heated seats, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, a WiFi hotspot and wireless mobile charging. The model also has heated power-adjustable leather seats.

Safety

Both 2023 Z trims have a host of standard safety driving aids. You get a lane-departure warning system, rear and front sensors, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitoring system and a front-collision warning system.
