MotorWeek Names the Nissan Titan the 2017 Pickup Truck of the Year

Pickups are meant to be noticed. Not just for the rugged looks, but also for their strength, durability, and power. Nissan took that to heart, and gave Calgary the 2017 Nissan Titan. And, boy, is it getting noticed. MotorWeek named the Titan the 2017 Best Pickup Truck in their annual Drivers' Choice Awards.

MotorWeek annually recognized vehicles in a variety of categories in their Drivers' Choice Awards. These awards reflect current customer trends, performance, technology, driver experience, and value. This is the second year in a row that Nissan has been honored with the Best Pickup Truck title, winning the 2016 award with the Nissan Titan XD.

The new Titan packs a 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine that packs 390 horsepower, or an available 310 horsepower Cummins 5.0-liter V8 Turbo Diesel, and comes with a 12,300 pound max towing capacity rating.
