The Nissan Armada is a serious player in the full-size SUV market, based around the same advanced engineering as the upscale Infiniti QX80. Looks and Format
From first impressions the Armada looks solid and reliable, yet still carrying a sense of genuine upmarket style. Construction-wise, this is a true body-on-frame SUV rather than a crossover, and can seat up to eight passengers over three rows within its generous cabin.
Powertrain and Performance
A SUV of this size needs a great powertrain to push it around, and the 2020 Armada doesn't disappoint. The standard engine is a mighty 5.6L V8 model producing 390 horsepower and 394lb-ft of torque. The standard 8" infotainment screen gives access to the navigation system and 13-speaker multimedia functions, while comfort is handled by dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
The Platinum trim adds heating to the second row seats, a rear seat entertainment system to keep passengers quietly occupied, and the option of second-row captain's chairs to replace the standard bench.
