Ten Things that Make Nissan a Leading Brand in Canada

Ten Things that Make Nissan a Leading Brand in Canada

Popular around the world, Nissan cars,
trucks, and Nissan SUVs have genuinely made their way
into the hearts of Canadians. There are many reasons why they're such big
sellers throughout the provinces, here are ten.

Number One - Nissan Quality - For over
seventy-five years now the Nissan brand has stood for the highest-quality and
most solid vehicles in the world. They regularly conduct follow-up inspections
on older models to gauge their durability and enforce strict quality guidelines
on all of their suppliers.

Number Two - Nissan Value - Year in and
year out Nissan vehicles provide more value than any other cars in their class.
Many base Nissan trims come equipped with features that other automakers add on
as expensive options. The 2019 Nissan Altima, for instance, starts out with
full power (windows, doors, remote keyless entry, etc.), air conditioning,
remote start, and push-button start.

Number Three - The Nissan Warranty -
Every Nissan vehicle comes with a full thirty-six month or thirty-six thousand Kilometer
limited warranty, and a five year or sixty-thousand Kilometer limited
powertrain coverage.

Number Four - Safety - Nissan's
Intelligent Safety Shield Technologies takes a multi-prong approach to safety.
"Smart Technologies" monitor tire pressure and steering input
patterns, for example, or even alert drivers to the need for a break.

Number Five - Reliability - Known for
reliability, in a consumer reports survey of 2017 brands, Nissan placed ahead
of, among others, luxury brands Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Acura, Lincoln, and
Cadillac.

Number Six - Resale Value - Trading in
their Nissan makes Canadians almost as happy as owning it. Most Nissan vehicles
rank at or near the top when it comes to holding their value. According to
Kelly Blue Book, the Nissan Versa, for example, offers the
highest resale value of any other subcompact car. The Versa retains more than a
whopping fifty-eight percent of its initial value, after three years.

Number Seven - Awards - Every year,
Nissan seems to win more and more awards. For 2018, as a brand, they tied for
most honors in the prestigious J.D. Power "Initial Quality Study."
The 2018 Frontier won the Midsize Pickup segment for the third year in a row,
while the Maxima and Altima also came in on top in their respective segments.

Number Eight - Fuel Economy - Canadians
love a bargain, especially when it seems like fuel prices just keep going up
and up. While it's no surprise that the Nissan Micra gets exceptional fuel
economy at 8.7/6.8 (City/Hwy L/100 km), who would have thought that the
powerful three-hundred-and-ninety horsepower Nissan Titan would go a hundred
kilometers on just 11.2 litres?

Number Nine - Cutting-edge Technology -
Always at the forefront when it comes to technology, almost all Nissan vehicles
now come equipped with touchscreen displays, Bluetooth connectivity, a
rear-view monitor, and Nissan's Direct Ignition System, among other things.
Nissan technology extends to safety, as well, with standard features like their
advanced airbag system and Vehicle Dynamic Control with Traction Control
System.

Number Ten - Royal Oak Nissan - At Royal Oak
Nissan we take pride in every vehicle we sell. Our friendly
staff, expert finance department, and skilled service technicians make Royal
Oak Nissan the number one dealership in Calgary, and  all of Alberta, as
well.
